At Adelaide Cancer Centre, we recognise the special care needs of our patients with cancer.
The Cancer Service is designed to cater for the total care requirements of patients and their families in modern, spacious surroundings.
Consisting of the Adelaide Cancer Centre located at Tennyson Centre and a designated Oncology/ Haematology / Palliative care ward at Ashford Hospital.
A 24 hour on-call service is provided; on site pathology, radiology and radiotherapy service and access to ICU and HDU as required.
We are conveniently located 5kms from Adelaide’s CBD.
Established March 1995 the Adelaide Cancer Centre is now the largest private oncology facility in South Australia, comprising a 27 chair unit and close ties with Ashford Hospital.
Adelaide Cancer Centre offers a friendly and relaxed environment where patients undergo day treatment, medical consultation and support.
We are unique in that we provide an integrated consultation, treatment and support centre for patients with cancer.
Our aim is to minimise the inconvenience of obtaining support services from several different locations and we are committed to excellence in patient care and clinical research.
A subsidiary practice is located at Burnside Hospital.
Our professional team consists of Medical Oncologists, Consultant Haematologists, Palliative Care Consultants, General Practitioner, Counseller and experienced nursing staff.
